Logan was 8 weeks old yesterday. He's really starting to reach for things. I wasn't totally convinced that he was hitting things intentionally until last night. We had gone to dinner and on the way home I figured he had fallen asleep since he was silent the whole way home. When I went to get him out of the car I noticed he was wide awake and staring intently at one of the toys dangling from his car seat. His little arm was outstretched - very steadily touching the toy. I had taken these pictures of him playin on his activity mat a few days before when I was excited that he was hitting his toys, but not convinced it was all that intenional!

Oh my gosh, he is so cute, and growing so fast! I love those first smiles, there's nothing better! I remember when Colin first starting playing with his toys and trying to reach for them...It's always so fun to watch what they are going to learn next! :)
Soooo cute! I think he kind of looks like his Grandpa Smith. Maybe it's just the Hawaiian shirt, I'm not sure :-)
