Logan's NCAA tourney picks

To waylay any doubts that Logan made his own picks for our family NCAA pool...I submit this video. What can I say, the kid knows what he wants!

More videos

Here are 2 more videos. The first is of Logan playing with one of his toys. His favorite part is pulling on the ribbon that causes the top tray to spin. Before he was able to pull it on his own, he used to pull the whole toy towards him to watch it spin when Justin or I would start it spinning for him. The second video is of Logan making is favorite noise. When Logan used to get noisy we would put our finger next to his mouth and move it back and forth quickly to make a funny noise. He loved when we do it. After a couple weeks he figured out how to make the noise on his own! The part I'm talking about is only a few seconds of the short video, but I thought I'd throw it up here anyway.

February Update

It's been a while again since I've posted so I thought I would give a little run down of what's been going on lately. Logan's newest party tricks include waving, clapping, and giving kisses. He's so proud of himself when he claps, it's simply adorable! And what mom can resist sloppy open-mouth kisses from her baby??? Okay, now to the pictures....

Before Justin started his new (old) job (he's back in engineering at the firm he left to go to work for Pulte), he was Mr. Mom while I was at work. I loved coming home to seeing him reading and playing with Logan.

Logan getting ready for the Superbowl.I love this shirt!

I'm not really sure what this look was, but it cracks me up each time I look at it.

I found this picture on my camera that Logan's babysitter's friend took. Logan's face says it all..."why is this crazy hat on me?"

Yesterday we went to the zoo with some friends. I think Logan looked just so cute! He had a great time watching the animals and the people.

My favorite picture from the zoo.

He did get tired after a couple hours, so he laid down in his stroller and took a nap.

Lastly, this was tonight in the bath. See the next post for a cute video.

Really?

Tonight before giving Logan a bath, he got very cranky. He got all stiff-armed and "screamed" at me. I said, "Oh really?" and he started cracking up. I kept repeating it and he just laughed and laughed, which of course made Justin and I laugh too. After he got in the bath we kept it up and he continued laughing whenever we would say it. Justin ran to get the camera and we recorded it. It's not great pictures because Justin was kinda behind him, but I'm sure it will still melt your heart and get you laughing along!

Logan's 6 month pictures

We got Logan's 6 month pictures taken at JC Penney. We also decided to get some family pictures taken. I am so pleased with the results. Since I haven't posted anything in a few weeks, I thought I would share these pictures with everyone :) I'm sorry for the ones that are sideways - I scanned them in and can't turn them in this program.

New Years

We went to Yuma for New Years. New Years Eve was spent at 2 parties. The first one was at Justin's great-aunt's house. The second was at some friends of the family. Justin's parents actually stayed there until midnight. Logan, Justin, and I were all in bed and fast asleep by the time they got home. This is Justin's cousin Jenelle with her son Caleb (and Logan). Caleb is 10 months old.On New Years day, we went to a very nice park in Yuma. It was the nicest park I've ever seen, actually. They have a huge castle area that the kids can play in with lots of stairs to climb and slides to go down. This was Logan's first real trip to a park. He had a lot of firsts that day, including his first ride in a real swing. His first ride on a slide.and his first time in a sandbox. It was hard getting a good picture of Logan and Caleb because (like Alex), Caleb enjoyed tapping Logan on the head. But we finally were able to get a decent one when Justin's cousin (or second cousin, or twice removed - whatever!) held Caleb.Aren't my boys so cute?!?! The afternoon concluded with Logan's first picnic. Emily (Jenelle's daughter) was tired and decided to take a little rest on Justin's knee. She's so cute.

Another first included sitting in and feeling grass. Lately, Logan has taken to sticking out his tongue constantly. It's adorable and funny, too. The second picture he was looking at the dog, but it seems as though he's sticking his tongue out at the dog. The third picture is my current favorite picture of Logan.

Lastly, I got some good pictures of Logan playing with Grandma. I guess I should have put some pants on him to hide the diaper...but oh well!

Christmas #3

Well, 2008 ended on an interesting note. Justin was laid off the week before Christmas. I guess it has turned out to be a blessing in disguise as he will now be able to be home with Logan during tax season. He has had some job offers and is still looking into some other leads. We know God has great plans for him and I'm anxious to see what those plans entail!

Back to Christmas....We celebrated Christmas with my family in Phoenix this year. It was a lot of fun to see the boys together at Christmas.

On Christmas Eve Alex came over in his PJ's :) It's so hard to get a good picture of the two boys alone because Alex just crawls away.
So, we just have to take pictures of Logan alone!

Logan had a great time ripping the paper off the gifts. Alex, on the other hand wanted nothing to do with the opening of the gifts but sure loved to play with the toys!

Here's Alex in his Santa costume. What a cutie! Gotta love the mischevious grin!

My grandpa loved the pictures of him with his great-grandsons after Halloween that he wanted to get some more at Christmas.

I love these pictures of the 2 baldies :) Especially the 2nd one where Logan is talking to Grandpa.
